**AI Chatbot for Winck** allows you to embed an AI-powered assistant directly into your WordPress site using a simple Brand ID.
This plugin isfor businesses and professionals who use the Winck platform to deliver personalized and intelligent chatbot experiences to website visitors.

> **Note:** An active Winck license is required to use the chatbot.  
> Without a license, the chatbot will not load.

== Installation ==

1. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Add New.  
2. Search for **AI Chatbot for Winck** and install the plugin.  
3. Activate the plugin.  
4. Go to **Settings > AI Chatbot for Winck** and enter your Brand ID.  
5. The chatbot will be automatically injected on your site based on the configuration set in your Winck environment.

= Where can I find my Brand ID? =  
Log in to your Winck environment at [https://app.winck.nl](https://app.winck.nl).  
Go to your **Brand Settings** to find your unique Brand ID.

= Can I control where the chatbot appears? =  
Yes. In your Winck dashboard, you can define **on which pages or paths** the chatbot should be displayed.

= Can I change the chatbot’s knowledge or behavior? =  
Absolutely. You can manage the chatbot’s knowledge base, tone of voice, personality, and behavior from within your Winck license dashboard.

This plugin loads an external AI assistant widget from **Winck**, a chatbot platform developed by INVESL B.V.

- The JavaScript widget is loaded from: `https://ai.winck.nl/embed-assistant.js`  
- The only data sent is the Brand ID (Merk ID), used to load the correct chatbot configuration  
- No user-specific or personal data is transmitted

This external service is provided by INVESL B.V.  
Terms of Service, as per your tailored license agreement with Winck by INVESL b.v.
