== Description ==

BLR Frontstage is a lean, dark, professional WordPress theme for musicians, bands, labels, shops, merch, press pages, and editor-built sites.

The theme is intentionally plugin-agnostic. It does not register custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, plugin-specific routes, or frontend data queries. Music, events, releases, shop logic, forms, mailing lists, analytics, SEO, and other data features should live in plugins so the theme remains a stable presentation layer.

Frontstage includes Customizer branding controls, menu locations, editor styles, block styles, a starter block pattern, WooCommerce support, and a reduced set of WooCommerce template overrides for key layout surfaces.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `blr-frontstage` folder to `/wp-content/themes/`, or install the theme zip from Appearance > Themes > Add New.
2. Activate BLR Frontstage from Appearance > Themes.
3. Set a static front page from Settings > Reading if desired.
4. Configure menus from Appearance > Menus.
5. Configure branding, logo width, colors, and background controls from Appearance > Customize > Frontstage Branding.

= Does this theme include music, event, release, or press-kit data features? =

No. Frontstage is a presentation theme. Content/data features belong in companion plugins.

= Does this theme require WooCommerce? =

No. The theme includes WooCommerce support and shop styling, but WooCommerce is optional.

No. Frontstage does not load remote resources by default.
