About the theme usage:

1. Beginning (Important)

A) Installing the theme

To be able to use the Compass WordPress Theme, you need to install WordPress on your server. If you don't know how to do it, then click on the link below that will guide you how to install WordPress.

To install the Compass WordPress theme, just place the theme folder “compasstheme”  in the themes directory under wp-content and activate it from the WordPress admin. As soon as you do that, the theme will be activated on your Website.


2. Configuring Homepage

A) Uploading Logo and Background Image.

Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Background.
Go to Dashboard->Appearance->Header


3. Building Menus

You can build a custom menu using the "Menus" option under the “Appearance” Section. You can organize the menu structure by adding various pages from the left that appear in the same window.

4. Configuring the Widgets.

The theme features Five Widgets.
Go the Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets
Here you can easily configure the widget display settings. Simply drag any field from the left and drop over any of these widget areas.
The Theme provides you a Homepage Sidebar Widget Area where you can also display a video. For this, you need to follow these steps:
Drop the text field from left over the Sidebar Widget.
Paste video <iframe> code in the text filed and cilck 'Save'. Now the video will appear on the Homepage Sidebar Widget Area.
