# FDA Starter Lite - Usage Guide

FDA Starter Lite is designed as a premium-feeling, lightweight Gutenberg theme for designers, freelancers, portfolios and local business websites.

## Recommended workflow

1. Create a page called `Home`.
2. Insert the pattern `Home starter layout`.
3. Go to `Settings > Reading`.
4. Set `Home` as the static homepage.
5. Edit, move or delete every section directly from `Pages > Home > Edit`.

The theme does not lock the homepage into the Site Editor. This makes it easier for non-technical users to remove sections, edit text and change page structure.

## Slider workflow

Use the pattern `Native hero slider (easy edit)`.

The slider uses native Gutenberg Cover blocks. Each slide is a normal Cover block, so the user can edit text, buttons and background images from WordPress without a plugin.

## Section color switcher

Select a Group block and open:

`Block sidebar > Styles`

Available section styles:

- FDA Dark Section
- FDA Lime Section
- FDA Cream Section
- FDA Sky Section
- FDA Violet Section
- FDA Outline Section

This gives users a visual color switcher without asking them to write CSS classes.

## Cards and grids

Useful classes for designers:

- `fda-container`
- `fda-section`
- `fda-grid`
- `fda-grid--2`
- `fda-grid--3`
- `fda-grid--auto`
- `fda-card`
- `fda-card--light`
- `fda-card--dark`

Normal users can rely on the included patterns without touching these classes.

## About and team pages

Create a new page and insert:

- `About page premium`
- `Team page premium`

These patterns are fully editable and mobile-first.

## Premium direction

The Lite version stays clean and WordPress.org-friendly: no GSAP, no external dependencies, no plugin requirement.

The future Pro version can add:

- advanced starter sites
- GSAP-powered creative sections
- premium portfolio layouts
- richer animation presets
- more vertical niches
- one-click site setup through a companion plugin

Ora lo slider si inserisce cercando **FDA Easy Slider** nel pannello blocchi.
Non è un plugin e non è uno shortcode: è una variazione Gutenberg basata su **Group + Cover**.

Ogni slide è un blocco Cover, quindi può essere modificata, duplicata o eliminata con gli strumenti nativi di WordPress.
Per aggiungere una slide: duplica una Cover esistente oppure cerca **FDA Slider Slide** nel pannello blocchi.

## v1.2.2 fullscreen slider

FDA Easy Slider ora è full width/full screen sul frontend e usa autoplay di default. In editor le slide restano impilate per facilitare modifica, duplicazione, rimozione e cambio immagine di sfondo tramite il blocco Cover nativo.

## Typography / Google Fonts

FDA Starter Lite does not remotely load Google Fonts by default. This keeps the theme lighter and safer for WordPress.org.

Use **Appearance > Editor > Styles > Typography > Manage fonts** to install Google Fonts locally through the WordPress Font Library. The theme also includes curated typography presets in `theme.json` and quick fallback controls in **Appearance > Customize > FDA Typography**.
